This black part is a hose locking device, which needs to be pressed down before inserting and pulling out the hose. 

If the hose is forcibly pulled out without pressing the locking device, the black hose locking device will be destroyed.

2，  How to Set the Pressure

Minimum Air Compressor Requirements: 6 gallons, 135 PSI

However, a larger air compressor capacity means:

• Less frequent operation cycles
• Lower noise levels
• Better overall performance

Recommended:

• 10 gallons ↑, 135 PSI air compressor

Note: While 6 gallons is the minimum requirement, choosing a 10-gallon compressor will provide quieter operation and improved efficiency due to reduced cycling frequency.
